That's Mrs Slattern to you

For how long is it acceptable to wear maternity clothes after the birth of your child?

I've managed to wean myself from the elastic waisted pants and the long stretchy tops but today I realised I'm still wearing my maternity bras, even though it's been at least three months since I unclipped the little window things and required them to function in a "maternity" sense. It's not because they're that comfortable or even particularly attractive, it's just that I'm too lazy to actually remove them from my undies drawer.

Ha. I didn't wear them a single second longer than I absolutely had to...which was long enough!

I recently packed up my maternity clothes, but I kept the long tanks and t shirts out that I continue to wear. Afterall, long is supposedly in, and I'm way too lazy to go buy more. I'm right there with you. It's called energy conservation, I think. :)

I still wear my maternity underwear (that were made to go under the bump) and two pairs of maternity casual black stretch pants on the weekends because they are just so dang comfortable.

How old is my son?

Three.

You have some time before you're as sad as me.

Presumably the maternity underwear is also some of the newest, so maybe the way through that is to go have a splurge and buy some new ones! New undies are such a treat.

OMG OG,
I am still wearing maternity bras too, and it's been six months since Lil'mooey's last BF. I am planning to go bra shopping this week... honest!!!
